At its 2007 Annual meeting, the Parker Baptist Association voted to enter a five-year parternship with the Green Mountain Baptist Association of Vermont. The primary focus of the partnership will be the planting of a new church in St. Albans and Franklin County, VT. The Parker Association also hopes to provide mission teams for existing GMBA churches
Daybreak Community Church of St. Albans will launch on August 2, 2009. You can click here to read the prospectus for the church.
Church Planting Partnership
- PBA will initially provide teams to prayer walk in St. Albans.
- Once a church planter is located and is on the field, PBA will coordinate teams with him for evangelistic projects, and later in the partnership provide teams for training and strengthening the new church.
- PBA will raise $1,200/month in salary support for the church planter. This amount will decrease by 30% each year in the last three years of the partnership.
If you would like to assist with salary support for the church planter, please contact our office.
Church Strengthening Partnership
PBA will maintain a list of needs in existing GMBA churches which interested PBA churches may wish to use to plan mission projects (i.e., construction, VBS, etc.). Click here to see a current list of mission projects.
